Dr Mark Willings has many years experience in dental implantology including bone grafting, sinus grafting and full mouth rehabilitations. He gained a diploma in implantology at the advanced level from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2004 followed by a fellowship in 2009. Mark worked at Manchester University Dental Hospital for ten years where he was an honorary clinical teaching fellow on postgraduate courses in implant dentistry. He has lectured locally and nationally and has been a course tutor in implant dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr Willings qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1991.

For patients enquiring about implant treatment via this website, Dental Excellence offers a free preliminary discussion with a treatment coordinator. This appointment does not include a clinical examination and it only takes 30 minutes. Please use the button in the right hand column to request an appointment.
Once you have decided in principle that you want implant treatment, the next step is a clinical consultation with Dr Willings. This includes a comprehensive oral examination and production of a fully-costed individual plan for your treatment. The fee for the clinical assessment and treatment plan is £125.

Referrals can be submitted online through the case referral form accessed through the right hand column of this page or by post or email. If you would like a referral pack please contact us. We are happy to visit or arrange visits to us to meet the team and discuss further what we do.
Dentists are welcome to refer just for implant placement. We can support them in the restoration phase if necessary. We also offer training courses where dentists learn how to restore implants themselves.
